The Morris Forman Computer Room project involved comprehensive renovations and system upgrades in line with MSD’s Standard Specifications. Key improvements included demolishing existing structures, installing temporary conditions to ensure uninterrupted operations, and upgrading workstations, furnishings, and interior finishes. Electrical, lighting, and telecom systems were enhanced, along with a new emergency generator, ATS (automatic transfer switch) system, fire suppression, and HVAC systems for improved air quality and equipment protection.
The installation of new workstations, furnishings, and interior finishes created a safer, more efficient work environment. The addition of a new generator and ATS system improved backup power reliability, ensuring continuous operations during emergencies. Upgrades to the electrical, lighting, telecom, HVAC, and fire suppression systems enhanced the facility’s functionality, energy efficiency, and overall safety.
