The Cedar Creek Sludge Storage project involves a new decanter system, to allow the plant to decant the sludge tanks more effectively. New odor control system to eliminate odor to the nearby neighborhoods. Grading changes with addition of retaining wall, and parking lot expansion. Critical electrical and SCADA infrastructure upgrades to modernize the existing process. All of the work was performed while keeping the plant fully operational.
These efforts helped modernize the facility. The result helped enhance the quality of life near the plant by eliminating the odor to neighboring houses while maintaining full operation of the plant throughout the duration of the project.
